Hi, I'm Yara, and I wear a lot of hats.
I’m a creative strategist helping brands in Egypt figure out what to say, where to say it, and how to make people actually care. By the rest of the time, I’m painting, shooting film on Cairo streets, and writing about everything from mental health to what I had for dinner.

Yara Ismail is a creative strategist and digital marketer based in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt, with over seven years of experience in social media strategy, Meta advertising, content creation, and SEO. She currently serves as Marketing Manager at Ithaka World in Alexandria, and has previously worked at Squadio, a tech talent platform operating across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. She also creates visual art and writes about mental health, travel, culture, and everyday life.
A Little About Me
I’ve been working in marketing for 7+ years, mostly with brands that needed to grow fast and didn’t have unlimited budgets. I helped Ithaka World rebuild their entire social presence across two Alexandria locations, and worked with Sokradorf, a sugar substitute and healthy food brand, on Arabic content that actually converts. I’m currently the Marketing Manager at Ithaka World and looking for my next creative strategist role.

Creative strategy
Figuring out what your brand should say, where, and to whom. I build content strategies, social pillars, and messaging frameworks that give your team a clear direction to execute from. At Ithaka World, I drove 100% Instagram growth in Q3 and built the entire SEO and four-pillar social strategy from scratch across two Alexandria locations.
Meta Ads
Campaigns that actually perform. Meta Certified and hands-on with full-funnel campaign architecture, Pixel setup via GTM, Advantage+ campaigns, CAPI, and retargeting. Delivered a 16% direct conversion rate through Meta ads at Ithaka World.
Content Creation
Reels, UGC scripts, carousels, and captions in both Arabic and English. I write and direct content calendars for brands, briefing creators with conversion structures so every piece has a job to do. Grew Sokradorf’s audience by 11k followers in under 3 months and delivered a top-performing reel with 24x ROAS.
